EDI Developer
Job description
EverStar Technologies is seeking talented, self-motivated and energetic EDI Developers to join our EDI practice. As a member of our team, you will be helping our clients develop new EDI integrations.
responsibilities
- Develop EDI integrations using one or more of the following EDI software packages:
- IBM Transformation Extender
- IBM Gentran
- GXS Application Integrator
- IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
- Dell Boomi
- Axway Integrator
- Configure EDI partner connectivity using AS2, SFTP, HTTP/S FTP, FTP/S, OFTP, OFTP2
- Monitor and resolve application related incident tickets and general user service requests
- Resolve or escalate incidents to the appropriate user or team within the specified SLA and in compliance with established standard operating procedures
- Work with application technical and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve issues affecting overall application system performance
- Interact directly with both internal and external clients and trading partners through user requests and queries from email and incident tickets
- Implement new B2B/EDI trading partner integrations
required skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
- 5 years development and support experience with any of the following EDI software packages:
- IBM Transformation Extender
- IBM Gentran
- GXS Application Integrator
- IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
- Dell Boomi
- Axway Integrator
- Demonstrated proficiency in executing basic SQL queries in Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL
- Demonstrated knowledge of version control systems
qualifications
- Production support experience resolving B2B/EDI related incidents and requests via a ticketing tool and system monitoring alerts
- Working with EDI standard data formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.)
- Working with core EDI related processes
- Transformation of EDI, XML, SAP IDoc, delimited and positional data formats
- Development and troubleshooting of EDI business processes
- Implementation of B2B/EDI connectivity for B2B or A2A integrations using industry-standard communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, HTTP/S FTP, FTP/S, OFTP, OFTP2
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and ability to think “outside the box”
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, reporting and presentation skills
- Strong customer interaction, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task multiple development and support initiatives

EDI Migration Analyst
Job description
EverStar Technologies is seeking talented, self-motivated and energetic EDI Analysts to join our EDI Migration practice. As a member of our team, you will be helping our clients migrate to new EDI platforms.
responsibilities
- Coordinate EDI testing and trading partner implementation initiatives
- Provide support for EDI database analysis, design, and operations
- Establish and maintain communications within organization and with partners
- Analyze and document existing EDI partner configurations hosted in any of the following EDI Software packages:
- IBM Transformation Extender
- IBM Gentran
- GXS Application Integrator
- IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
- Dell Boomi
- Axway Integrator

System Admin
Job description
EverStar Technologies is seeking talented, self-motivated and energetic System Admins to join our Systems Integration practice. As a member of our team, you will be helping our clients to administer, maintain and support all Windows Server hardware and Operating Systems.
responsibilities
- Participate on a team supporting and maintaining all Windows Server hardware and Operating Systems, Active Directory and related functions and services.
- Provide strategic and architectural planning and vision for Windows infrastructure.
- Monitor the environment for performance and stability that meets Service Level Objectives.
- Maintain system patching levels, ensure current system backups, analyze for performance tuning.
- Root cause analysis on incidents on Windows systems, hardware and OS/software.
- Produce reports essential for proper management of the Windows environment.
- Possess the ability to objectively handle escalation of reported incidents related to all facets of the Windows environment.
qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with design, architecture, support and recovery of Windows systems environments, Active Directory, Exchange.
- Strong working knowledge of networking architectures and protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of centralized server management framework
- Experience with VMWare a plus.
- A self-starter with good interpersonal skills who can work equally well with management, peers, or end-users.
- Must have strong communication and phone skills, as well as excellent analytical and technical skills.
- Must be capable of explaining simple procedures in writing and verbally.
- The applicant must be self-motivated with the ability to work with vendors, operations staff, and applications development to see problems resolved. Performs routine tasks under the direct supervision of a more experienced system administrator or manager.
